REQUEST OF EXPRESSION OF INTERESTThe United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) intends to establish a local System Contract (long-term agreement based on fixed rates and multiple deliveries, on an "as-and-when -required" basis) for the supply and delivery ofC30 ready-mix concrete for hard surfaces and road development to improve the road network system for its Support Base in Entebbe, Uganda (ESB). The Following will be the requirements:I.The successful bidder (Contractor) shall supply and deliver approved, consistent and well batched readymix concretein good and acceptable state to the satisfaction of the ES Supervisor(s), and in well conditioned mobile concrete mixer trucks operated by well qualified personnel. The portable dry toilets intended for use at the remote locations are required to be rapidly deployable (i.e., easy to install, uninstall,and move), easy to operate, durable and reliable, and efficient in treating human excreta to level that is odorless and harmless to the human and the receiving environment.ii. Before tendering or submitting the proposals, the bidders are advised to visit the site, its surroundings to assess and satisfythemselves about the local conditions such as the working and other constraints at site, approach roads to the site and any other relevant information required by them to execute complete scope ofrequirement.
