Expression of Interest are invited for Strengthening Airport Resilience to Natural Disasters in the Democratic Republic of the Congo Multi-Hazard Assessment, Risk Mapping, and Emergency Response Preparedness The overall objective is to undertake multi-risk mapping specifically elated to floods and landslides which would risk stabilizing the proper functioning of the target airports and making it possible to develop priority recommendations for integrating the results of disaster risks into disaster planning and management efforts in the 2 aeronautical installations. The study will include an examination of the technical characteristics of hazards such as their location, intensity, frequency, and likelihood; the analysis of exposure and vulnerability, including physical, social, health, environmental and economic dimensions; and the assessment of the effectiveness of existing adaptive and other capacities with respect to likely risk scenarios. The World Bank Group intends to finance the assignment / services described below under the following: - BANK BUDGET - Japan-World Bank Program for Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Management in Developing Countries â Second Phase The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals).
