Description:
The United Nations is planning to invite competitive proposals for a short term operations and maintenance services for supply of fuel in support of the the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in theDemocratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO).Description of requirementThe operations and maintenance services for supply of fuel consist of:1. Operation and maintenance of fuel storage facilities within Mission Area of Responsibility. Distribution Point/s (DP) shall be used exclusively in serving Mission-s and authorized equipment. 2. Dispense fuel (gasoline, diesel and kerosene (included Jet A-1)) to UN authorized fuel receiving equipment (End User), i.e. aircraft, vehicles, generator locations, fuel containers, fuel bulk delivery points, etc, at MONUSCO locations within DRC. 3. Provide transportation services from primary DP to secondary DP.4. Provide diesel and Jet A-1 storage capability for fuel operations at Uvira through fuel truck tankers or fuel trailers positioned in UN land. 5. Contractor shall document, manage accounting and report of all fuel transactions
