Expression of Interest are invited for Anti-Malarial Therapies Marketing Strategy Description IFC is supporting a Company based in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) that produces quinine, the well-known anti-malaria medicine. IFC wishes to engage a consultant/consulting firm (the “Consultant”) to work closely with the Company to develop a new marketing strategy for increasing the Company-s domestic sales, by a minimum of 30%, through expanding regional coverage, raising awareness, introducing new products, and upgrading its products presentation (“the Project”). Key Project objectives include the following: · Provide an overview of the domestic market landscape for suppliers and distributors of anti-malarial therapies in the DRC; · Provide a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis of the Company-s current marketing strategy (pricing policy, product category, packaging); and · Provide a new marketing strategy that will aim to increase its visibility and sales in the country. The estimated time frame for this assignment is twelve (12) weeks and the Consulting firm will be expected to travel to the country for engagements with key sector stakeholders.
